A Bible for our timez
"Oh hai. In teh beginnin Ceiling Cat maded teh skiez An da Urfs, but he did not eated dem. Da Urfs no had shapez An haded dark face, An Ceiling Cat rode invisible bike over teh waterz. At start, no has lyte. An Ceiling Cat sayz, i can haz lite? An lite wuz."

I'm not sure if the world is ready for this, but it's getting it anyway. The Lolcat Bible is actually two-thirds finished and almost certainly will be done before 2009. The idea may make you laugh, get angry, or just roll your eyes, but for me it's something of a glimpse into the playfully snarky, rebellious culture we're creating in the internet(s). I'm not an expert in literature, so I'm not qualified to say if this is any kind of artistic achievement, but some of it has had me lolling ever since I first came across it. Carry on, my feline friends. Just don't expect the tithes to come rolling in any time soon.

Indeed. This isn't quite a new translation, but more like a dialectal version, kind of like the differences between the KJV and the New American Standard. :p
